PCI, EMV, and chargebacks — the short version

What you actually owe as a merchant, and what the processor owes you back.

PCI is a questionnaire, not a product

If you use a PayAnywhere terminal or a hosted checkout and you do not store card data, your SAQ is the short one. We do not invent an annual PCI fee to remind you.

EMV liability

Chip and tap shift counterfeit-card liability off a merchant who used the chip reader. Magstripe-only is how you inherit fraud you did not commit. We place chip devices.

Chargebacks

A customer disputes a sale. You get a reason code and a deadline. We help with representment. We do not shrug and let the bank keep the money because the portal was ugly.

The security page is the full desk view: tokenization, funding, and how we handle a compromised MID.
